“There is nothing more efficient and productive than a live meeting!”
Such was the expert summit, which was held by the teams of University of Lodz, Bulgarian Centre for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation, PRISM and Athens Lifelong Learning Institute on November 8th and 9th at the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz, Poland.
Within those 2 days we outlined the following steps in elaborating the vision for SE co-creation hub:
- Establishing local SEHUBs in Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, and Poland in the beginning of 2022;
- Developing a 2-day training program on HR and Management with innovative and inclusive training approaches and staff management instruments for SE representatives of the SEHUBs;
- Planning the shadowing program for SEs which will be organized from mid-spring to mid-summer of 2022.
The program will give a unique chance for local social enterprises to deepen their knowledge and experience, learning that from like-minded social enterprises working in a similar field of activity in Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, and Poland.
Giovanni Zinna’s story of the birth and operation of Moltivolti – one of the most successful social businesses in Palermo – has really inspired the work process. He shared valuable information on how to manage and support a team of 36 people from many parts of the world and carrying different cultural habits. Sounds like a real challenge, doesn’t it? But MoltiVolti executes it brilliantly. What they really do as a business is to provide coherent and connected services Restaurant – Co-Working Space – Hostel – Guided tours in Africa. And all this with the noble goal of presenting the cultural diversity of the different people of the world.
Today, more than ever, we are motivated to launch SEhubs in the four partner countries and to invite the local social entrepreneurs with whom together to co-create our community spaces for providing goods, learning, sharing, inspiring, and testing management skills.
